Fahreen Chudasama is a consultant based in Nairobi, Kenya with more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector leading and supporting institutional fundraising and new business development initiatives in West, Horn, East and Central Africa. She has previously worked for INGO's such as Oxfam GB and VSO as their Business Development Manager and Regional Programme Funding Manager managing institutional funding portfolios of £50million. Fluent in French, her key areas of expertise include: the development of funding strategies, donor engagement plans, partnership development, donor trends analysis and new business development (through competitive bid development) for a diverse range of organisations. Fahreen also has extensive experience overseeing institutional funding income and expenditure targets through monthly/quarterly financial and management reports to inform institutional funding trends both internally and externally. This has involved contributions into the annual budgeting and planning cycles in collaboration with Management and Leadership Teams. She has also provided strategic donor contract management support for wide range of bilateral, multilateral and foundation donors, including leading on risk and reputational management of institutional funding.
